  • Sharing Warmth Around the Globe - The National Ski Areas Association's SWAG (Sharing Warmth Around the Globe) program is dedicated to the distribution of retired ski resort uniforms to those in need in cold weather countries throughout the world.
  • SherpaFund - Raises funds for schooling Sherpa children from remote areas of Nepal where access to education is extremely limited. To give these children greater opportunities, the Foundation provides scholarships at a first-class private school which is supportive of Sherpa culture. All funds are raised through contributions and fund-raising events.
  • ISSM - International Society for Mountain Medicine brings together physicians, scientists and allied professionals interested in mountain medicine, to encourage research on all aspects of mountains, mountain peoples and mountaineers and to spread scientific and practical information about mountain medicine around the world .
  • Alex Lowe Foundation - The Alex Lowe foundation was created to preserve Alex's legacy by providing direction and financial support to sustainable, community-based humanitarian programs which are designed to help the people who live in remote regions of the world. This foundation will carry on Alex's spirit of adventure.
  • Central Asia Institute - Supporting community-based programs in education, women's empowerment, public health and conservation in remote mountain regions of Central Asia
  • K-2 Peace Park - Promoting a peace park in Kashmir to bring an end to the hostilities between India and Pakistan in Kashmir. The park will cover an area surrounding K2, the second highest mountain on the planet.
  • Karing for Kids - Karing for Kids (KFK Nepal) runs a Mother and Child Health Clinic (MCH-Clinic) in the rural mountain communities of Rasuwa, Nepal. KFK Nepal is a non-government charity organization working to save the lives of children in Nepal since 1997. KFK-Nepal's MCH Clinic has been providing the medical services to approximately 7,000 people of remote Gatlang, Goljung, and Chilime villages of Rasuwa district since late 2000
